A TALENTED footballer from Winterfold School is over the moon after signing for his favourite team West Bromwich Albion.
Frazer Billings enjoyed a special signing evening held at the Richardson Suite at The Hawthorns with players Jonathan Leko, Sam Field and Rekeem Harper.
As a Baggies fan, Billings joined the club of his dreams midway through his under-seven season in 2017 before departing for Wolverhampton Wanderers.
After a successful under-eight season, WBA soon committed to Billings and he was delighted to have been offered a place in the academy from next season.
Mr James Brinkley, head of boys’ PE at Winterfold, said: “It is great to see Frazer making such good progress as a result of the hard work and practise he puts into his football.
“He sets a terrific example for his team-mates at school and we wish him all the best with WBA.”
