BROMSGROVE Sporting have further bolstered their squad with the additions of Kieron Dawes and Lewis Wright who both signed for the club last week.

Dawes has joined from Redditch United whilst defender Wright arrives from Halesowen Town who have secured former Sporting favourites Nathan Hayward and Josh Quaynor for next season.

And Sporting also confirmed that influential midfielder Jack Newell will remain with the club next season.

Newell proved a big miss for the Rouslers last term after suffering a long term injury having scored a wonder goal to send Bromsgrove into the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup in October last year.

Sporting announced that Dom Perkins and Jordan Goddard would remain with the club last month whilst also confirming that Andre Brown and Ryan Edmunds had both joined the Rouslers.

New Bromsgrove boss Thomas Baillie has brought in several new players in the off season as he looks to guide Sporting up the Southern League Premier Central table next season.

Fixtures for the new season will be released at midday on Friday, July 15.

Prior to the new season, Sporting have lined up friendly matches with Tividale, Sporting Khalsa, Kidderminster Harriers, Hemel Hempstead Town, Stourport Swifts and Bedworth United.

Sporting begin pre-season this weekend with a trip to Gresley Rovers on Saturday, July 9 with kick-off at 3pm at the Moat Ground.
