SANTIAGO COLTS’ under-13 Allstars maintained second place in the Premier Division with a resounding 5-0 victory over local rivals Meadow Park.
Goals from JP Hayes, Morgan Eagle, Theo Powell, Thomas Revill and a wonder strike from Fahme Ibrahim secured victory for the Allstars.
The under-14 Girls were involved in a fantastic Open Cup semi-final clash but were edged out 3-2 by Coundon Court in extra-time.
Toyah spoor had given the Girls the lead before conceding an equaliser on the stroke of half-time.
The Girls regained the lead through Sophie Preston but once again Coundon hit back with 10 minutes to go, sending the game into extra-time.
With two minutes of extra-time remaining, Coundon snatched a late winner to book their place in the final.
The under-14 Sirens salvaged a 2-2 draw against Sutton Coldfield Town thanks to two goals from Hanah Nowakoska with Katie Mertagh picking up the man-of-the-match award.
Despite the huge scoreline, the under-15 Colts put on a brave performance against a very good Bromsgrove Blades outfit who won 8-2.
Zak Bates score for Colts with a free-kick in his own half while Bradley Cutler’s individual effort rounded off Colts’ scoring.
Meanwhile, the under-12 Lions were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Chelmsley Town with Joe Androlia picking up the man-of-the-match award in the defeat.
