Santiago Colts under-13 Allstars remain in second

SANTIAGO COLTS’ under-13 Allstars remain second in the table after claiming a convincing 3-1 victory at Ulverley Hawks.

Theo Powell, Morgan Eagle and Wetherill netted the winning goals.

The under-13 Superstars were in good form as they won both of their games against Leafield Athletic 2-0 and 5-0 respectively.

Man of the match Alistair Hunter netted both goals in the first encounter, while Joe Wathen (2), Hunter, Harvey Thompson and Josh Donagey got on the scoresheet in the second clash.

The under-12 Lions were involved in a double-header against Maypole, winning the first game 1-0 before being held to a 1-1 draw.

Lewis Fullilove scored in the first game and Harry Neal in the second.

In an all Santiago affair, the under-14 Lions claimed a narrow 1-0 victory over the under-14 Shamrocks with the only goal of the gaming coming from George Whitehouse.

Elsewhere, the under-16 Colts went down 3-0 to Glades and the under-sevens won the Winter Cup.
