JOSH Holt ran in four tries as Bromsgrove RFC cruised to a nine-try 62-10 bonus point win against bottom club Broadstreet.

Holt crossed twice either side of the break while Will Tanner finished the game with a 22-point individual haul.

Further tries from Ben Tibbetts, two from Ed Spalding and Jack Medley helped the Boars to a dominant win at the Ivor Preece Field.

And the result means Bromsgrove sit third in the Regional 1 Midlands table.

The Boars romped to a 53-0 success in the reverse fixture at Finstall Park back in November and put on another try-scoring clinic to record their biggest points total in a single game this season.

Bromsgrove ran in three converted tries inside the opening 20 minutes as Holt touched down either side of Tibbetts’ try with Tanner adding the extras to all three scores to put the home side in command.

Broadstreet registered all 10 of their points soon after with a converted try and a penalty only for the Boars to respond through a Tanner penalty and Spalding try before the break.

And Medley, Tanner and Spalding all crossed for tries in the second half before Holt ran in two more tries to take his tally for the game to four as the Boars secured a fourth successive victory.

Bromsgrove are next in action at home to Burton on Saturday, March 16 with kick-off at 3pm at Finstall Park.
