BROMSGROVE RFC maintained their perfect home record with a 28-15 bonus point victory against Broadstreet.
Ross Attwood crossed for two tries with Drew Harper, Ed Krawiecki and Jack Tharme also dotting down as the Boars kept pace with the division’s leading sides.
The result means Bromsgrove sit fourth in the Midlands Premier table, just five points behind leaders Bridgnorth with a game in-hand.
And a physical encounter ensued at Bromsgrove Rugby Club as the teams were locked at three apiece after 35 minutes.
But after Broadstreet were given a yellow card for foul play, Bromsgrove struck twice in the space of five minutes.
Both Attwood and Harper touched down in the closing stages of the first period as the Boars made the most of their man advantage to lead 13-3 at the break.
However, Broadstreet made a quick start to the second half and scored a converted try to reduce Bromsgrove’s lead to three points.
The Boars responded with another quick brace of tries as Krawiecki scored his first before Attwood grabbed his second to secure a try bonus point.
And Tharme completed the scoring for Bromsgrove when he dived over in the corner after a great pass out the back of his hand from Tom Sadler.
Broadstreet scored their second try with the final play of the match with the conversion sailing wide to hand the Boars a return to winning ways after consecutive defeats.
Bromsgrove are next in action away at Syston in Leicestershire on Saturday, January 22 with kick-off at 2.15pm at Barkby Road.
