JORDAN Maddocks crossed for a hat-trick as Bromsgrove RFC romped to a 10-try 69-10 bonus point victory against Drybrook.

Further tries from George Amphlett, Ollie Ingram, Will Harris, Tom Mitchell, Rich Hance, Joe Carter and Nathan Fisher supported Maddocks’ treble as the Boars sealed a comprehensive victory at Finstall Park.

The result means Bromsgrove sit fourth in the Regional 1 Midlands table, just seven points behind second-placed Bournville.

An early penalty from Will Tanner put the Boars ahead before Drybrook responded with a try to take the lead on their first visit to Finstall Park.

However, a six-try blitz in the space 30 minutes took the game away from the visitors as the Boars blew Drybrook away.

Maddocks crossed twice while Amphlett, Ingram, Harris and Mitchell all dotted down as the home side amassed 43 points by half time.

And Maddocks completed his hat-trick after the break while Hance, Carter and Fisher all touched down with Tanner kicking eight out of 10 conversions.

Drybrook scored a consolation try late on but the Boars cruised to victory as Bromsgrove secured back-to-back home wins for just the second time this season.

Bromsgrove are next in action against Stourbridge on Saturday, February 14 with kick-off at 3pm at Stourton Park.
