MILLFIELD Rovers moved to the summit of the Bromsgrove & District League Premier Division with a 4-0 victory at Belbroughton Athletic.

Two goals from David Stokes and one each from James Ward and Jack Connolly secured the win for Rovers who leapfrogged out of action Pilkington Sunday to take spot.

Braces from Lewis Phillips and Daniel Weston guided Division One leaders Chaddesley Corbett to a 5-3 victory at Quinton Athletic.

Matthew Perry also got on the scoresheet for Corbett while Keil Sumnall (2) and Joe Brookes.

Meanwhile in the Charford derby, FC Hope Pole recorded their first victory of the season after coming from 2-0 down to beat Oak Tree Sporting 3-2.

Richard Hall and James Gasson had put Oak Tree in control but second half strikes from the rejuvenated Sam Partridge (2) and Kit Wozniak from the spot secured the win for the hosts.

In the sole Division Two game, five different scorers guided second placed AFC Northfield to a 5-2 victory at HMP Hewell.

Hewell had scored inside 15 seconds to take the lead before making it 2-0 after 13 minutes.

But strikes from Aaron Westwood, Michael Crook, Chris Mcgrath, Shaun Hunter and Sean Farrell ensured it was Northfield who came away the spoils.

There was also one game in Division Three as an own-goal and efforts from Adam Doupe and Jahmel Trevis secured a 3-0 victory for Rubery Legends over Bromsgrove Academicals.

Bromsgrove Corinthians will beet either Arrow Valley or Laburnum in the semi-finals of the BDFL Rose Bowl following their 3-1 victory over Stoke Works.

Corinthians’ forward pair of Alex Beck (2) and Tom Mason got the winning goals.

Paul Badger netted a consolation for Works.

Studley Lions booked their place in the semi-finals of the Kidderminster Hospital Cup with a 2-1 victory at Spennells United thanks to Jamie Hatfield’s brace while Spa Athletic crashed out of the quarter-finals after losing 4-1 at Wollaston United.
