INSIDE VIEW - Richard Gregory's pre-Tamworth column

Bromsgrove Editorial 9th Jan, 2020   0

Bromsgrove Sporting’s Richard Gregory writes for The Standard in his weekly column, reflecting on the club’s unbeaten run into the New Year ahead of a top-of-the-table clash with Tamworth.

Hi all, hope everyone had a great Christmas and New Year.

We ended the year on a high, and we’ve started the New Year in similar fashion.

The lads are on fire at the moment, scoring four in each of our last three games and taking maximum points. Confidence is very high amongst us all right now and long may it continue.

It’s important that we don’t get carried away, our unbeaten run has been fantastic and it’s a good feeling.

We welcome Tamworth to the VG on Saturday and it’ll be a big test for us, we’ve already beaten them earlier in the season but in my opinion they are the strongest side in the league.

They have quality all over the pitch with no real weaknesses.

It’s a fixture we’re all looking forward to though, for me this is what it’s all about – a big local derby between two big non-league clubs who are well supported in a top-of-the-table clash.

People need to realise how far we have come in the last three years and enjoy these games, which, on that note, means we want you to all come down in your numbers and get behind the boys.

We want to get the Shed End rocking as we look to continue our unbeaten run.

Gregs.
