HIGHGATE Dynamos’ FA Sunday Cup run came to an abrupt end as they were beaten 5-1 by New Salamis.

Arguably the toughest draw of the round, Dynamos did themselves and the Bromsgrove League proud, but an early red card hampered any chances of progression.

Will Tibbetts struck three times as Chaddesley Corbett booked their place in the semi-finals of the Kidderminster Hospital Junior Cup with a 4-2 victory over Waggon & Horses after extra time.

Sporting Club Redditch also reached the last four after easing to a 5-1 victory at Lakeside United.

Joe Shaw (2), Dan Sill, Malique Williams and Harry Bedford with the goals for Redditch.

There was one game in the Kidderminster Hospital Minor Cup where Chaddesley Ravens overcame Withymoor 3-2 to reach the semi-finals.

Dan Willetts, Dan Weston and Dan Kings were on target for Ravens.

Elsewhere, only one league game beat the weather with Division Three leaders Arrow Valley edging past Kings Norton Sporting 3-2.

Strikes from Rob Voice, Paul Halfpenny and Matthew Remes securing the three points for the visitors.
