LEON HEWITT bagged a hat-trick for Rubery Sunday Juniors who downed Winyates 5-2 in the only game in Bromsgrove League Division One at the weekend.

Jake Wicketts and Cameron Jones were also on the scoresheet for RSJ who made it two wins from three.

Dave Phelan and Jordan Porter netted for Winyates.

Jake Booton struck four times to fire Rubery Legends to an 8-3 victory over SHTP to consolidate top spot in Division Two.




Jahmel Trevis (2), Lee Farrell and Morgan Trevis were also on target for Legends.

Solihull Moors remain in second by virtue of goal difference after they thrashed Broughsons 8-2.


Kieran Pace (2), Paul Heath (2), Dale Volrath (2), Lee Woodward and Brad Niblett with the goals for Moors.

Studley Swan edged out Chaddesley Pensioners 4-3 while Quinton Athletic enjoyed a 4-1 victory over Meadow Park Youth, thanks to braces from Matt Carter and Callum Burston-Keeley.

Elsewhere, Cofton Old Boys and Lickey End Social shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw.

SO Goose moved to within three points of out of action Division Three leaders Hewell after they eased to a 5-1 victory over Bartley Reds Sunday.

Ashley Thompson (3), Aiden Jones and Jamie Denham were on target for Goose.

Shane Obode bagged four goals in Royal Eagles’ 6-0 victory over Redditch Borough Sunday, Bromsgrove Academicals downed Millfield Rovers 4-0 while Catshill won by a similar scoreline at Stoke Prior.

Lewis Smith (2), Dan Wilkes and Adam Dyer scored for Catshill.

In the Bromsgrove & Redditch Standard Shield group stages, Hizza United drew 3-3 with Bromsgrove Corinthians while Austin Ex Apprentices secured a 5-1 victory over Bromsgrove Athletico.

Carl Martin (3), Connor Collins and Reece Ward netted for Austin.

Black Horse booked their place in the second round of the WA Harris Cup with a thumping 17-0 victory over South Birmingham.

Janny Dinanga (5), Andre Tulloch (3), Liam Molesworth (2), Ricardo Richards (2), Simon Fitter (2), Josh Gunter, Thomas Lacey and Aaron Xavier with the goals.

Meanwhile, Longbridge Social progressed into the first round proper after easing to an 8-1 victory over AFC Norton in the preliminary stage.

Elsewhere, Chaddesley Ravens are through to the first round of the Division One Cup following their 3-2 victory over Bartley Green Owls.
