JAKE Jeff-Johnston, from Barnt Green, has become the under-12 British Junior Golf Tour champion.

The 12-year-old competed in events across the United Kingdom against more than 100 other talented junior golfers.

And the Bromsgrove Golf Academy player also represents Worcestershire County Golf’s under-14 side.

He was part of the winning team in the 10 counties under-14 Championship and went unbeaten across all his county events throughout the course of the season.

And after a successful year on the golf course, Jake has qualified to play in the under-14 World Championships in Spain in February 2024.

Jake’s stellar season saw him win events at Chesterfield Downs, De Vere, Kirtlington, Northants, Pyle and Kenfig and Walton Heath while he also claimed the Fulford Heath Junior Gross title.

He also secured three second place finishes and six third place finishes in other British Junior Golf Tour events.

Jake came third in the Woodhall Spa three-day event and fourth at the British Junior Golf Tour World Championships in Portugal.
