CONOR Tee’s injury time goal secured a stunning 1-0 win for 10-man Bromsgrove Sporting away at St Ives Town.
Tee’s 94th minute strike helped Sporting return to winning ways after player-manager Mike McGrath saw red just past the hour mark at Westwood Road.
The result means Bromsgrove sit 10th in the Southern League Premier Central table.
St Ives made a bright start as Aaron Smith caused the Rouslers some early problems with a series of long throws into the Sporting box.
The visitors responded with a chance of their own as Aaron Roberts headed narrowly wide from Tee’s corner.
However, despite the home side having the better of the chances, the teams went into the break all square.
Sporting improved after the interval with Callum King-Harmes and Tee both causing the home side problems in the final third.
The game turned on 61 minutes when McGrath received his second red card of the season for a heavy challenge on Charlie Johnson although St Ives struggled to make the extra man count.
However, four minutes into injury time, Sporting substitute Gus Sanches beat two defenders down the left before crossing to Tee who blasted home into an empty net to leave St Ives stunned.
Despite home substitute Tiago Nassuncolo heading against the post, Sporting held on for the remaining eight minutes of injury time to seal an impressive victory.
Sporting are next in action at home to league leaders Mickleover on Tuesday, October 17 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Victoria Ground.
