MIKEY Taylor rescued a point for Bromsgrove Sporting after the Rouslers played out a 1-1 draw with Basford United.
Taylor equalised on 79 minutes after Anthony Dwyer had put Basford ahead shortly before half time at the Victoria Ground.
Sporting currently sit 17th in the Southern League Premier Central table.
Basford started the stronger of the two teams as Sporting goalkeeper Ollie Taylor made a number of saves to keep the scores level.
However, Dwyer eventually broke the deadlock on 41 minutes when he poked the ball beyond Taylor from Declan Dunn’s chipped through ball.
Sporting were much improved after the break and drew level with 11 minutes left to play when Taylor fired home past Basford keeper Kieran Preston from a through ball.
And Taylor almost scored a winner late on only to shoot straight at Preston from a drilled cross as the spoils were shared.
Sporting are next in action away at Hednesford Town TONIGHT (Tuesday, September 27) with kick-off at 7.45pm at Keys Park.
