BROMSGROVE Sporting can look forward to a reunion with former boss Paul Smith next season after the FA released the National League System club allocations for steps one to six.

Sporting will again play in the Southern League Premier Central next season having finished one place above the relegation zone under player-manager Michael McGrath last term.

And the Rouslers are joined in the league by local rivals Redditch United and Alvechurch as well as Halesowen Town who won promotion to step three under Smith’s guidance last season.

Smith’s Halesowen side are one of five newly-promoted teams joining the league along with AFC Sudbury, Berkhamsted, Long Eaton United and Stamford.

And three teams relegated from the National League North, Leamington, AFC Telford United and Kettering Town, have dropped down into the division.

The rest of the 22-team league is made up of Barwell, Coalville Town, Hitchin Town, Leiston, Mickleover, Needham Market, Nuneaton Borough, Royston Town, St Ives Town, Stourbridge and Stratford Town.

All leagues are subject to FA Council ratification.
