AARON Roberts scored an injury time equaliser as 10-man Bromsgrove Sporting twice came from behind to take their FA Cup third round qualifying tie with Chelmsford City to a replay.
Roberts scored a header at the death to level the game at 2-2 after Conor Tee equalised from the penalty spot despite Miro Pais’s red card at the Victoria Ground.
Sporting travel to Chelmsford’s Melbourne Community Stadium ground on Monday, October 2 for the replay with kick-off at 7.30pm.
Chelmsford goalkeeper Josh Oluwayemi made a number of saves to keep the game level as Sporting looked to upset their National League South opponents.
However, the visitors broke the deadlock on 47 minutes when Callum Jones scored on the rebound after Ollie Taylor saved Freddie Hockey’s initial effort.
And Sporting forward Pais then saw red for a two-footed challenge on Chelmsford’s Luke Jenkins to leave the Rouslers on the brink of defeat.
However, the home side drew level on 69 minutes when Tee confidently scored from the penalty spot after Oluweyemi brought down Keanu Cooper in the box.
Chelmsford regained the lead on 79 minutes when Jones headed in from close range before Taylor made a string of crucial saves to keep Sporting in the contest.
However, the Rouslers stunned Chelmsford late on when Roberts headed in Tee’s corner at the back post on his 250th appearance for the club.
