CAM’ Jones scored his fourth goal in three games as Hopwood Swifts returned to winning ways with a 2-1 victory over mid-table North Solihull, writes Neil Gordon.
Jones bagged a brace to make it 17 goals in 14 games in Division One of the Birmingham and District Football League, as second-placed Swifts overcame Solihull at Coleshill Road for their first win in four games.
And Hopwood further reduced the gap on leaders Sutton United to five points after this victory, with Swifts on 23 points from 13 games and unbeaten United on 28 points from 12 games.
