BROMSGROVE Sporting have made a sixth summer signing from Hednesford Town with the arrival of experienced forward Jake Jervis.
Another of Hednesford’s double-promotion winning squad has swapped Keys Park for the Victoria Ground next season.
The 34-year-old made two appearances for Birmingham City at the start of his career and later represented a host of Football League clubs.
Jervis said: “I’m excited to be a part of another great project.
“Tim played a big role in my decision to join the club, and I’m really looking forward to playing alongside some familiar faces again.
“I’m also eager to meet the new players, staff, fans and everyone connected with the club.”
Jervis scored 27 goals in 108 appearances for Plymouth Argyle and twice recorded double figures for goals for the then League Two club.
He also featured for Portsmouth, Luton Town, Preston North End, Notts County, Swindon Town, AFC Wimbledon and Salford City amongst others in the Football League.
Jervis also spent time playing in Scotland, Turkey, Finland and India before returning to England with Brackley Town and then Hednesford.
