CATSHILL Lionesses under-13 girls’ are celebrating after winning a league and cup double this season.
The club’s under-13 girls’ team won the Division One title in the Mercian Junior League.
And Catshill also lifted the League Cup after beating rivals Meadow Park 2-1 in the final at Pershore Town.
The Lionesses have won 15 of their 19 league matches this season losing just two games all campaign.
In total Catshill have won 23 of their 27 games in all competitions this season, scoring 74 goals along the way and conceding only 15.
Catshill clinched the league title with a 2-0 home victory against Kempsey Colts at Catshill Middle School.
The Lionesses also won the league and cup playing 11-a-side football for the first time last season.
Catshill secured the league title with two games to spare and entertain Droitwich Spa Robins at home this weekend.
