BROMSGROVE Sporting will start the season with an eagerly anticipated local derby against rivals Redditch United following the release of the 2023/24 Southern League Premier Central fixtures.
Sporting entertain Redditch at the Victoria Ground on the opening day of the season (Saturday, August 5) with the return derby at Valley Stadium to take place in the New Year (Saturday, January 20).
The Rouslers travel to Royston Town for their first away match of the campaign (Saturday, August 12) before hosting Coalville Town (Tuesday, August 15) and travelling to Leiston (Saturday, August 19) in a difficult opening month.
Former Sporting boss Paul Smith returns to the Victoria Ground with his newly-promoted Halesowen Town side the following month (Tuesday, September 26).
Bromsgrove welcome local rivals Alvechurch to the Victoria Ground at the end of October (Saturday, October 28) with the return fixture at Lye Meadow the club’s penultimate away game of the season (Saturday, April 6).
Over the festive period, Sporting travel to Stamford in their final game before Christmas (Saturday, December 23) before hosting Stourbridge on Boxing Day (Tuesday, December 26) and make the trip to AFC Telford United on New Year’s Day (Monday, January 1).
Sporting finish the season at home to Barwell (Saturday, April 27) with a trip to Stratford Town, managed by former Rouslers boss Gavin Hurren, their last away game of the campaign (Saturday, April 20).
