BROMSGROVE Sporting surrendered a two-goal lead in a 3-2 home defeat against Spalding United as both teams finished the game with 10-men.
Goals from Billy Shaw and Kobe Hall put Sporting in command inside 25 minutes at the Victoria Ground.
However, Joshua McCammon halved the deficit for Spalding in first-half injury time before substitute Bartosz Cybulski drew the visitors level.
Spalding then had Connor Johnson sent off eight minutes from time before Paul McCone followed the former down the tunnel.
And Jack Roberts scored the resulting free-kick following McCone’s dismissal to leave the home side stunned.
The result means Bromsgrove sit 15th in the Southern League Premier Central table.
Sporting broke the deadlock after just nine minutes when Shaw controlled Jack Kelly’s pass and lifted a shot beyond the reach of Spalding goalkeeper Aaron Chapman.
And the Rouslers doubled their lead on 23 minutes as Hall took the ball past Chapman and finished into an empty net from Luke Benbow’s flick-on.
The visitors responded moments before the break when McCammon drove into the penalty area and lashed a shot into the bottom left corner.
And Spalding equalised on 76 minutes as Cybulski finished through the legs of Adam Harrison from close range after Sporting failed to deal with a cross into the box from the right.
Spalding captain Johnson then picked up a second yellow card after he brought down Hall as the last man on the halfway line.
However, Sporting also finished the game with 10-men after the referee adjudged McCone to have pulled down Yusifu Ceesay as the last man on the edge of the penalty area.
And Roberts fired the resulting free-kick underneath the wall and into the net despite the best efforts of Harrison.
Bromsgrove are next in action against Needham Market on Saturday, August 23 with kick-off at 3pm at the Victoria Ground.
