BROMSGROVE Sporting surrendered an early lead in a late 2-1 defeat away at Quorn in midweek.
The Rouslers went ahead through Gustavo Sanches’s goal only for the home side to stage a second-half comeback at Farley Way.
Finn O’Boyle drew Quorn level early in the second period before veteran striker Billy Kee completed the turnaround for the hosts.
The result means Bromsgrove sit 16th in the Southern League Premier Central table, two points above the relegation zone.
Sporting broke the deadlock on 21 minutes when Sanches pounced on a loose pass to round the goalkeeper and finish into an empty net.
However, Quorn equalised on 51 minutes as O’Boyle turned home Silvio Bello’s low ball in from the right.
And Kee snatched the points for Quorn six minutes from time in bizarre fashion as an attempted clearance deflected off the former Football League striker and ricocheted into the net.
Bromsgrove are next in action against Barwell in the FA Trophy on Saturday, October 4 with kick-off at 3pm at Kirkby Road.
