BROMSGROVE Sporting saw their perfect start to pre-season come to an end following a 3-0 defeat against Coleshill Town.
Goals from Alex McSkeane, Harry Sweeney and Dan Brookes before the half-hour mark condemned Sporting to defeat at Pack Meadow.
Coleshill play one level below Sporting in the Northern Premier League Midlands.
The home side broke the deadlock on 10 minutes when McSkeane poked home into an empty net after Adam Harrison spilled a cross into the scorer’s path.
And the hosts doubled their lead seven minutes later as Sweeney lashed a half-volley past Harrison from the edge of the penalty area.
Coleshill took the game out of Sporting’s reach on 27 minutes when Brookes turned home Ben Usher-Shipway’s cross from the left.
Bromsgrove are next in action against Sporting Khalsa on Saturday, July 19 with kick-off at 3pm at the Guardian Warehousing Arena.
