BROMSGROVE Sporting have signed four new defenders ahead of their trip to Banbury United this weekend.
Paul Smith has added a quartet of players to his backline in the form of Ash Carter, Demico Burton, Josh Ezewele and Carter Lycett.
Centre-back Carter helped Alvechurch reach the second round of the FA Cup in 2022/23 and went on to play for Stourbridge, Halesowen Town, Coalville Town and Walsall Wood.
Young full-back Burton primarily plays at left back and came through Derby County’s academy before enjoying spells at Rugby Town, Lye Town and Coleshill Town.
Right back Ezewele returns to the club following a previous spell with the Rouslers during the 2021/22 campaign.
Lycett also operates at full back and previously featured for Hednesford Town, Chasetown and Walsall Wood.
All four players are available for Sporting’s clash against Banbury on Saturday, October 12 with kick-off at 3pm at the Banbury Plant Hire Community.
