BROMSGROVE Sporting secured a third straight home win with a 2-0 victory against Royston Town.
Goals from Gustavo Sanches and Billy Shaw saw the Rouslers continue their impressive recent home form at the Victoria Ground.
The result means Bromsgrove sit 15th in the Southern League Premier Central table, eight points clear of the relegation zone.
Sporting made the perfect start as Sanches broke the deadlock after just eight minutes.
Debutant goalkeeper Rory Brown launched a counter attack which led to Sanches winning a duel with Royston stopper Louis Chadwick before finishing into an empty net.
And Rouslers defender Luke Softley then made a crucial last-ditch challenge to keep Sporting ahead before Brown denied Adam Murray moments before the break.
The home side rode their luck after the interval as Josh Ezewele produced a goalline clearance to prevent another Murray header from drawing the visitors level.
And Sporting eventually doubled their lead on 83 minutes when Shaw received a pass on the halfway line and drove into the penalty area before firing a shot across goal and into the bottom right corner.
Bromsgrove are next in action against Stourbridge on Saturday, November 15 with kick-off at 3.03pm at the War Memorial Athletic Ground.
