BROMSGROVE Sporting have confirmed captain Reece King and defender Josh Ezewele will remain with the club next season.

King became Rouslers captain in February earlier this year after former skipper Luke Rowe departed for National League North bound AFC Telford United.

And the midfielder has committed his future to the Rouslers after scoring five goals in 47 appearances last season.

The 29-year-old joined the club from Stourbridge at the start of the 2024/25 campaign.

King said: “I’m delighted to be staying with Bromsgrove and really looking forward to the season ahead.

“It’s a club that means a lot to me, and I’m proud to continue being part of it.

“There’s a real sense of ambition within the squad and around the club, and I’m excited to be part of that journey.

“We’ve got a strong group and a lot to build on. I’m confident we can push on and achieve something special this season.”

And defender Ezewele has also agreed to remain with Sporting.

The right-back made just two appearances for Bromsgrove last term after signing in October.

He picked up a season-ending injury against Kettering Town soon after his arrival.

The 28-year-old is in his second spell with the Rouslers having previously played for Sporting during the 2021/22 campaign.

Ezewele added: “I’m delighted to be here for the upcoming season.

“After chatting to the gaffer and hearing his ambitions for next season, I’m really excited to work with him and can’t wait to meet up with the squad again.

“After injury put a halt to my season, I’m itching to get out there and play in front of the Sporting fans and, most importantly, try and help the team build on the fantastic second half of the season we had.”
