CALLUM King-Harmes scored an early goal as Bromsgrove Sporting drew 1-1 with Highgate United in their latest pre-season outing.
King-Harmes struck after just two minutes at the Victoria Ground only for Ethan Muckley to equalise just four minutes later for the Midland Football League Premier Division side.
Sporting made the ideal start when King-Harmes manufactured some space in the box and saw his shot deflect past the Highgate keeper.
However, Muckley responded for the visitors soon after with a cool finish when one-on-one with Sporting keeper Ollie Taylor.
The home side almost reclaimed the lead when Conor Tee sent a header wide of the post from Aaron Roberts’s cross.
Tee saw another chance come and go in the second half after his fine run ended with a powerful shot from distance that was straight at the keeper.
Rouslers stopper Taylor kept his side level as he twice denied a trialist before tipping Connor Mooney’s header from close range over the crossbar.
And Highgate almost won the game late one when a trialist rounded Taylor only Roberts to superbly clear his effort off the line.
