BROMSGROVE Sporting made the perfect start to pre-season with a comfortable 3-0 win away at Worcester Raiders.
Penalties from Shaquille Leachman-Whittingham and Kieran Cook put Sporting in command before a trialist extended the Rouslers lead before the break at Sixways Stadium.
Sporting dominated first-half proceedings against Hellenic League Premier opponents Worcester and put the game to bed with three goals as Paul Smith made 10 changes at the break with only goalkeeper Charlie Price playing the full 90 minutes.
The visitors pushed forward from the first minutes and soon won a penalty for a push in the box as Leachman-Whittingham stepped up to coolly send the ball down the middle of the goal and put the Rouslers ahead.
Sporting continued to pin Raiders deep in their own half and doubled their lead on 33 minutes after Aaron Bishop drew a foul in the box and new signing Cook drilled a fine penalty into the bottom left corner of the goal.
And with the half-time break looming, the impressive Callum King-Harmes sent an inch-perfect cross into the box from the right which a trialist slid home to all but end the game as a contest.
After Sporting made a raft of changes at the interval, Raiders enjoyed their best spell of the match in the early exchanges of the second period as Kurtis Wood send a fine header inches over the bar.
However, the Rouslers wrestled back control of the game and created several chances to add to their lead with Harry Crook having the best attempt when his curling shot travelled narrowly over the crossbar following a fine run down the left.
Bromsgrove continue their pre-season campaign away at AFC Wulfrunians on Saturday, July 13 with kick-off at 3pm at the Prestige Midlands Arena.
