BROMSGROVE Sporting have launched a ‘wall of fame’ at the Victoria Ground to mark 140 years of football in the town.
Sporting will build the ‘wall of fame’ next to the Rousler Bar side of the stadium on the opposite side to the main stand.
The wall gives supporters the chance to buy a personalised brick which will then form part of a wall featuring a number of different messages from Sporting fans.
Sporting chairman, Rod Brown said: “As part of our celebrations to mark 140 years of football in the Bromsgrove community, we wish to dedicate a wall on the opposite side of the main stand for, hopefully, hundreds of individual bricks with individual messages to celebrate anyone special.
“This might be an occasion, a legend of Sporting or Rovers – past or present, a dad or grandad’s birthday from their loved ones, or someone who has supported Bromsgrove football all their lives.
“This is an opportunity to have these heartfelt messages to be viewed for the next 140 years.”
