BROMSGROVE Sporting goalkeeper Ollie Taylor has successfully won his appeal to have his red card against Ashby Ivanhoe overturned.
Taylor saw red after preventing Luke Rowe’s stray backpass from going into his own goal in Sporting’s 2-0 FA Cup victory against Ashby.
With no substitute goalkeeper available on the day, Sporting striker Prince Henry went in goal for the final 20 minutes and recorded a clean sheet to help the Rouslers through to the next round.
However, the club decided to appeal the decision to send Taylor off and have been successful which means he is available to play against Kettering Town this weekend.
