NICK Clayton-Phillips scored a brace as Bromsgrove Sporting claimed a dominant 4-1 win against Hungerford Town in their final pre-season friendly.
Clayton-Phillips struck twice in the first half with Josh Ezewele and Luke Benbow also on target for the Rouslers at the Victoria Ground.
The victory means Sporting end their pre-season campaign with successive 4-1 wins against Hungerford and a Solihull Moors XI.
Bromsgrove took the lead on 21 minutes when Clayton-Phillips found the bottom corner after a fine run from Tom Edge.
However, Southern League Premier South side Hungerford equalised four minutes later as Tyrone Duffus headed home a corner from close range.
Clayton-Phillips doubled his tally for the game on 29 minutes when he volleyed home after Hungerford failed to deal with a Jack Kelly throw-in.
Sporting stretched their lead on 63 minutes as Ezewele curled a shot past the Hungerford goalkeeper from inside the penalty area.
And Benbow completed the scoring in style eight minutes later with a stunning 40-yard lob after he caught Henry Woodcock off his line.
Bromsgrove begin their league campaign with a home game against Bishop’s Stortford on Saturday, August 9 with kick-off at 3pm at the Victoria Ground.
