BROMSGROVE Sporting cruised to a 3-0 victory against Kettering Town as the Rouslers stretched their winning run at home to four matches.

Goals from Luke Benbow, James Sanderson and Tom Edge saw Sporting return to winning ways at the Victoria Ground.

The result means Bromsgrove sit 15th in the Southern League Premier Central table.

Sporting broke the deadlock after just 11 minutes when Billy Shaw pounced on a short pass in the Kettering penalty area and squared the ball to Benbow who forced a shot past Jason Alexander.

And the home side won a penalty on xx minutes after Benbow drew a foul just inside the penalty area after winning back possession deep in the Kettering half.

However, the striker saw his powerful effort from the spot saved by Alexander as the Kettering stopper made the save low down to his right.

The Rouslers eventually doubled their advantage on 55 minutes as Sanderson turned home Edge’s low ball in from the right at the back post from close range at the second attempt.

And Edge completed the scoring in style one minute from time when he won back possession and curled a stunning effort into the bottom left corner from 40-yards out with Alexander off his line.

Bromsgrove are next in action against Quorn on Tuesday, November 25 with kick-off at 7.45pm at the Victoria Ground.
