BROMSGROVE Sporting have announced the double loan signing of Kidderminster Harriers youngsters Kobe Hall and Samson Hewett.
Striker Hall signed his first professional contract with Kidderminster in the summer and has made eight first team appearances for Harriers.
Hall made his debut for Kidderminster aged 16 years and 135 days in January this year becoming the club’s youngest ever player to feature in a competitive match for the first team on record.
Midfielder Hewett spent time on loan at Lye Town earlier this season and is yet to make a first team appearance for Harriers.
Sporting’s player-manager Mike McGrath said: “I’m delighted to have Kobe and Samson join Sporting, they are both young hungry players who will add competition for places and strengthen our squad.
“Both players are highly thought of by Russ [Penn] and had a lot of interest from other clubs looking to take them, so I’d like to thank Russ for giving me priority and trusting me with another two of his up and coming talents.
“Last season we had Kai Lissimore and Jack Tolley who did really well for us and have both gone on to progress after a successful loan period.
“We’ve had a decent start to the season with the squad and I believe we can grow into something special. We must now look to step up a gear and push on with what is a tough division with no easy games.”
Hall said: “I’m buzzing to get my first loan here at Bromsgrove Sporting.
“I can’t wait to score goals, show the fans what I can do and help the club push for the play-off spots.”
Hewett said: “Coming to Bromsgrove is a really good opportunity for me to show everyone what I’m capable of.
“Hopefully, I can help the team win games and climb up the table. I like to get on the ball and make things happen and hopefully here will be the perfect place to showcase that.”
Both Hall and Hewett are available for selection ahead of this weekend’s match against Stratford Town on Saturday, November 11 with kick-off at 3pm at the Victoria Ground.
