BROMSGROVE Sporting have signed midfielder George Forsyth and forward Kieran Cook ahead of the upcoming 2024/25 season.

Midfielder Forsyth returns to Sporting following a spell with the club in 2022/23 while Cook joins from Coalville Town following their withdrawal from the Southern League Premier Central.

And returning Rouslers manager Paul Smith expects both players to improve his squad next season.

Sporting boss Paul Smith said: “Foz has been at this level and the one above for a number of years now. Some forget he is still only 27, but he will bring stacks of experience and professionalism to the squad.

“Cookie can win games on his own – on his day, he is unplayable. I’m confident that I can get the best out of him, week in week out. He could be a star for us this season.”

Forsyth added: “I’m delighted to be back at the club. Working under the gaffer again was too good an opportunity to turn down. I know how the management team works and I’m confident I can excel in this environment. I love playing at the Victoria Ground and I can’t wait to get back out there.”

Cook said: “I’m delighted to be a part of a new Bromsgrove side that has high ambitions. I’m excited to get started and play under the gaffer for the first time.”

Forsyth spent last season on loan at Kettering Town from AFC Telford United.

Prior to his move to Coalville, Cook enjoyed spells with Stourbridge and Alvechurch.
