Early strikes from Tom Hill and Ash Pardoe gave Rovers the perfect start at Charford Road, before Jack Dawkins and two own goals sealed victory for Bromsgrove.
And the Greens will play Division One outfit Kings Heath Rangers in the second round of the competition.
Bromsgrove return to league action against leaders Silhill B on Saturday, October 19 with kick-off at 2.30pm at Charford Road and admission free.
