BROMSGROVE Rovers AFC suffered a setback in their plans to move into the top half of the table after losing 3-1 to Hampton Sports, writes Neil Gordon.
Bromsgrove were looking to go joint fourth with Hampton but could only muster a consolation strike from the returning Robbie Davies at Field Lane.
The result leaves the Greens fifth in Division One of the Birmingham and District Football League on 13 points from ten games.
The defeat now sees Rovers six points behind fourth-placed Sports, who completed a league double over Bromsgrove with this result.
And Bromsgrove have as many as four games in hand as they continue to clear their fixture back-log with a further six league fixtures over the coming 21 days.
Bromsgrove play North Solihull at Coleshill Road on Saturday, April 11. Kick-off is 2.30pm and admission free.
