BROMSGROVE ROVERS AFC saw their fixture against Nechells Athletic postponed due to an unplayable pitch, writes Neil Gordon.
The postponement follows recent heavy rain and strong winds across the country brought by Storm Darragh, which put pay to the fixture at the Nechells Wellbeing Centre.
Bromsgrove had been looking to secure victory and return to top spot in Division Two of the Birmingham League Division, with leaders Silhill B without a fixture.
This latest postponement follows on from Rovers’ Holder Cup match against Hampton Sports also falling victim to the weather the week before.
Weather permitting, Bromsgrove return to league action with a mouth-watering local derby against Redditch Borough on Saturday, December 21 at Cherry Tree Walk with kick-off at 1pm and admission free.
