BROMSGROVE Rovers AFC goalkeeper George Harris rounded off an excellent campaign by claiming two of the club’s end-of-season awards.
The Bromsgrove stopper won the players’ player and committee’s player of the season awards after Rovers finished the season with the second best defence in the Birmingham and District Football League Division Three.
And Jack Hopper claimed the young player of the season award with Jake Evans manager Spencer Machin’s player of the season.
The captain’s award went to Alex Footman with Ash Pardoe the club’s top goalscorer with 13 goals while Dan Hagyard won goal of the season.
Rovers chairman Bryn Davies heaped praise on the club’s players after an 11-game winning streak towards the end of the season helped Bromsgrove secure a third place finish in the table.
