BROMSGROVE Rovers AFC made it 13 goals in three games when they came away from basement side Kings Heath Rangers with a 6-3 victory, writes Neil Gordon.

Both Jack Dawkins and Bailey Deehan hit doubles, while Jake Evans and Bailey Depper-Gwilliams also found the net at Hathaway Road, as Rovers hit six in a league fixture for the first time since October 2024.

The goal-fest was all the more encouraging owing to the absence of leading marksman Robbie Davies.

The Greens move up to fifth in Division One of the Birmingham and District Football League on 13 points after this victory, with the side still having as many as five games in hand.

Bromsgrove had to come from behind twice during the first half with Dawkins, Evans and Deehan giving Rovers a 3-2 lead by the interval.

The second-half saw Depper-Gwilliams finding the net between second strikes apiece from Deehan and Dawkins as rampant Rovers finished 6-3 winners.

And the Greens now have their sights on fourth-placed Hampton Sports who are three points ahead of Bromsgrove, with the two sides set to meet on Thursday.

Before then Hampton play second-placed title-chasing Desi.

Meanwhile, leaders Sutton United were without a game on Saturday but remain top on 29 points from 12 games, while former strugglers Hollyfields climbed to eighth after beating FC Stratford 5-3.
