BROMSGROVE ROVERS AFC exited the Amateur Cup following a 2-0 defeat against Boldmere St Michaels under-21s, writes Neil Gordon.

Birmingham and District Football League outfit Rovers produced a spirited performance against the under-21s of the Northern Premier League Midlands Division side Boldmere St Michaels at the Amber Arena.

The Greens fell behind on 20 minutes and continued to plug away until conceding a killer second goal on the hour mark, to end any hopes of progressing.

Rovers now conclude their fixtures for the first half of the season when they face Silhill B in the first of four home league and cup fixtures.

Bromsgrove entertain Silhill B in Division One on Saturday, December 20. Kick-off is 2pm at Eldorado Close and admission free.
