BROMSGROVE Rovers AFC turned around a half-time deficit to beat Castlecroft Rangers 4-2 and extend their unbeaten league run in the league to eight matches.

Goals from Keian Savage, Ryan Moore and Dan Hagyard put Rovers in command after Jack Dawkins put the visitors ahead at Elliotts Lane.

The result means Rovers remain fifth in the Birmingham and District League Division Three table just one point off fourth place with games in hand.

Dawkins put Rovers ahead from a corner with his first goal of the season from Ash Pardoe’s cross before Brad Cresswell scored a quickfire double to give Castlecroft the lead at half time.

Rovers drew level courtesy of Savage’s stunning equaliser before Moore put Bromsgrove back in front on his return from long-term injury.

And Hagyard then scored from near the halfway line after the home keeper’s clearance fell to him to seal the points.

Bromsgrove face North Solihull on Saturday, April 6 with kick-off at 2:30pm at Chelmsley Town FC, Coleshill Road.
