ALVECHURCH have bolstered their forward line with the signing of striker Jaanai Gordon ahead of the 2023/24 campaign.
Gordon came through Peterborough United’s academy and made four appearances in the Football League before signing for West Ham United.
However, Gordon sustained ACL and LCL injuries during a spell with then League Two side Cheltenham Town in 2017/18 which saw him miss 18 months of action.
He returned to football with Tamworth and then impressed at Banbury United where he scored 16 goals in 20 games in the 2019/20 season.
The 27-year-old spent a season in the National League South with Oxford City before returning for short spells at both Tamworth and Banbury,
After impressing for Stratford Town at the start of the 2021/22 campaign, Gordon enjoyed spells in the National League North with Hereford and Brackley Town.
Last season, Gordon featured for Boston United, Banbury and Nuneaton Borough.
