FOOTBALL - Alvechurch FC launch near full-time 'Hybrid Programme' for next season

Bromsgrove Editorial 14th May, 2022   0

ALVECHURCH FC have announced the launch of their near full-time ‘Hybird Programme’ for next season.

All existing players will be offered the opportunity to play and train under the Programme with some of the first-team squad already committing for the 2022/23 season.

The Hybrid Programme will mirror the same training programme at most full-time clubs and will be overseen by the Sporting Director and first-team manager’s.

And the Programme includes training every day with one day off in the week, breakfast or lunch provided each day, 10-12 hours grass time per week plus matches, strength and conditioning including gym sessions and full rehab/prehab.

Additionally, those part of the Programme will benefit from coaching from first-team management, specialist individual training (S and C, nutrition and injury prevention), video analysis and elite position specific coaching from a professional coach and data analysis.

The club decided to launch the scheme having gained access to first-class facilities at The Hayes and have teamed up with Village Hotel to access their gym equipment, studios and pool facilities.

Alvechurch appreciate that this programme will not be everyone and are looking to recruit players recently released from professional acadamies, preferably first year and second year pro’s, who are aged 18 to 24 years-old and have already at step four or above in the non-league pyramid.

The club want players who are hard working, determined, ambitious, talented, focused and disciplined.

Church endeavour to remain sustainable with wages roughly equivalent to trainees or a first year professional at a National League club with bonuses and travel expenses.

The club have been overwhelmed with applicants and would like to make clear the minimum requirements for any future applicants.

1. Recent experience as a scholar or Pro at a Professional Club Academy Category one, two or three

2. 18-24yrs old who has played at least Step 4 of the non league pyramid for the 2021/22 season

3. Players who the club have identified (you will be contacted directly by our management team).
