BROMSGROVE Sporting will kick-off the 2017/18 season with an FA Cup extra preliminary round tie against Rocester.
The Rouslers welcome fellow Midland League Premier Division outfit Rocester to the Victoria Ground on Saturday, August 5.
The winners will then entertain last season’s MFL Premier Division and FA Vase runners-up Coleshill Town or West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division side Wellington in the preliminary round on Saturday, August 19.
Last year, Paul Smith’s men crashed out at the preliminary round stage after suffering a 1-0 defeat at Rugby Town.
David Kolodynski got the only goal of the game in the 82nd minute for the former Northern Premier League First Division South side who now play in the MFL Premier Division following their relegation from Step Four.
Sporting are yet to reach the first qualifying round of the FA Cup.
