Dugmore and Collins bag trebles as BGIS Fairfield thump Quinton Athletic in Standard Shield

ALEX DUGMORE and Connor Collins bagged hat-tricks for BGIS Fairfield who finished top of Group C in the Bromsgrove & Redditch Standard Shield after thumping Quinton Athletic 10-3.

Michael Teji, Brad Bullimore, Lewis Phillips and Dan Lawrence also netted in the big win while Jake Chinn, Anton Gardner-Bennett and Cordell White replied for Athletic.

Austin Ex Apprentices also booked their place in the quarter-finals of the BRS Shield after overcoming Bromsgrove Athletico 3-1 in Group A, thanks to goals from Andy Nicol, Stuart Butcher and Jak Walton.

Meadow Park Youth picked up their first three points in Group A of the Bridgwater Cup after trouncing Crown Athletic 10-0.




In Group B, Spa Athletic were given a home walkover after Millfield Rovers were unable to raise a side while Royal Eagles cruised to a 5-0 victory at Lickey End Social.

Meanwhile, Ben Rogers struck twice for Winyates in their 4-2 victory over Group D leaders Bromsgrove Corinthians.


Nathan Leighton and Devante Thompson were also on target for the hosts.

There was one game in Bromsgrove & District League Division One where Wychbold RBL cruised to a 7-2 victory over Sporting Grapevine whose scorers were Jack Steele and Will Doolan.

Division Two leaders Hizza United were held to a 2-2 draw by mid-table Awkies Allstars.

Scott Young (2) scored for United while Jason Gibbons and Chris Fox netted for the Allstars.

Studley Lions made it four wins out of four as braces from Nick Briggs and Marco Jovanovic fired them to a 6-3 victory at Rubery Sunday Juniors.

Jamie Hatfield and Matt Edwards completed Studley’s scoring.

Arrow Valley had their 100 per cent winning record brought to a winning end at the hands of Rubery Legends who claimed a 5-3 victory over the Division Three leaders, thanks to goals from Jahmel Trevis (2), Adam Doupe, Chad Boyce and Jamie Taylor.

Meanwhile, Chaddesley Pensioners beat Hewell 7-2.

In Division Four, AFC Norton drew 0-0 with Bromsgrove Academicals while Stoke Prior got the better of Bromsgrove Raiders 6-4 in a ten-goal thriller at the Navigation Inn ground.
