Crombie hat-trick fires New Woodland Cottage to victory

ADAM CROMBIE scored a hat-trick to help inspire New Woodland Cottage to a 6-2 victory over Beoley Village in the Redditch & South Warwickshire Combination on Sunday.

Scott Harvon (2) and Stu Byng were also on target for the victors, whilst George Badea and Oliver Derikoye netted for Beoley.

SO Goose Greenlands and Studley Swan fought out a thrilling 4-4 draw as Jack Darby, Aiden Jones, Tom Cartwright and Matt Jones scored for Goose.

Martin Hughes and Craig Robinson bagged braces for Swan.




AFC Lions beat Shakespeare Studley 2-1 and Lodge Park were 3-1 winners against Redditch Town thanks to goals from Higgins, Nolan and Murphy.

James Grady was on the mark for Town.


Matt Morris, Jake Bilson and Sean Bailey scored for Redditch Cross in their 3-2 win against VKL United, for whom Stephen Spencer and Sam Osmond were on target.

CBH Fasteners cruised to a 7-2 victory against SCC Redolence as Nathan Davies (2), James Morrall (2), Tom Wheatcroft, Chris Parish and Gary Walker struck, leaving goals from Phil Penny and Anthony Bromhead as mere consolation for SCC.

In the Worcestershire FA Premier Cup second round, Austin Ex-Apprentices beat Bromsgrove & District League outfit Millfield Rovers 5-0.

Doubles from Andy Nicol and Craig Spink and a Chris Tranter goal secured Apprentices’ place in the third round.
