BROSMGROVE Sporting’s clash against Lichfield City at the Victoria Ground has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch following a pitch inspection at 11.30 this morning.
The Midland League Division One clash between second place Sporting and fourth place City will now be rearranged for another date.
A victory for Sporting today (Saturday) would have sent them back to the top but with Coventry United playing in midweek – weather permitting – they could go four points clear at the top with a still a game in hand.
Sporting’s next fixture will see them welcome Nuneaton Griff to the Victoria Ground on Saturday, February 13.
