BROMSGROVE School has been awarded fourth place in the Best Independent Sport Schools list for 2015.
Published by School Sport magazine, the results are based on 20 different sports and more than 120 different national competitions.
The award comes after another fantastic year for Bromsgrove School sport with the most notable achievement being the rugby first team claiming the NatWest Under-18 Schools Cup.
Bromsgrove School also hosted the West Midlands Netball finals last weekend with the under-14s proving successful.
After winning six of their group stage games to qualify for the semi-final, they ran out 14-2 winners over Wolverhampton Grammar School to book their place in the final.
Against a strong Kings Warwick team, Bromsgrove came out on top with a 17-2 victory to claim the title, a result which qualified them for the National Finals at Roedean School in March.
Deputy head Paul Mullan, said: “It is really pleasing to see that the school has been recognised for its commitment to sport.
“The school prides itself on the opportunities available for all its pupils but at the same time, is very keen to give the opportunity to achieve excellence at both regional and national levels.
“The range of sports played at the school is extensive and the success is a testament to the hard work of the pupils, teachers and coaches in preparing these teams.”
