Bromsgrove School crowned County Hockey Champions

BROMSGROVE School’s under-12 B Girls’ Hockey have been crowned County Hockey Champions after beating King’s Worcester.

On Tuesday, the girls took part in the County’s Mini Competition at Bishop Perowne School with their first group match seeing them beat The Chase 4-0.

In their second group game, the girls had to work had to claim a 1-1 draw with King’s Worcester.

After progressing to the semi-finals, Bromsgrove enjoyed a 3-1 victory over Bredon School to book their place in the final.




In a rematch of the group game, Bromsgrove and King’s Worcester once again played out a 1-1 draw meaning it came down to shuffles to decide the winner.

Bromsgrove’s Natasha Malam, Bella Howdle and Darcey Pearson stepped to take the shuffles and emerged victorious by the end of play, crowning the school as County Hockey Champions.
