CLARE FOSTER from Bromsgrove RFC was honoured at the annual North Midlands Volunteer Awards.
The awards, now in their 13th year, celebrate outstanding voluntary service to rugby sides in the region, with the hard work and generosity of volunteers often proving the difference in keeping rugby clubs running.
Foster was named the Club Volunteer of the Year, recognising her extended efforts at Bromsgrove and with the North Midlands RFU where she helps out with the bodies’ representative teams.
Bromsgrove club president Dave Wellington said: “The award could not have gone to a better or more committed volunteer.”
